Dr. Panagiotis Kaliantzis graduated from the National & Kapodistrian Medical School of Athens. He served his military duty as a medical officer in the Special Forces of Rhodes. During his service, he specialized in Diving Medicine.

He was trained in obstetrics and gynecology in various hospitals in Greece and Great Britain (St Peters Hospital Surrey, Northampton General Hospital, and Luton & Dunstable General Hospital), where he acquired vast experience in various aspects of his specialty, such as deliveries, cesarean sections, colposcopy, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and high-risk pregnancies.

During his training, he attained the diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning (DFFP) and passed his MRCOG Part 1 exam.

After completing his training, he attained the title of an Obstetrician and Gynecologist specialist in Greece and a license for Obstetric & Gynecological Ultrasound.
He subspecialized in Reproductive Medicine and worked as a Research Registrar at the IVF unit of Liverpool Womens University Hospital, the largest IVF unit in Great Britain. He was trained in all aspects of fertility treatment, particularly the management of IVF patients, IVF protocols, oocyte retrievals, embryo transfers, intrauterine inseminations, and male infertility treatments (TESE, PESA).
 
He also worked as a Registrar at North Manchester General Hospital and St Marys Hospital Manchester.
 
He had attended an Advanced Laparoscopic course at Royal Free London Hospital and had performed more than 700 hysteroscopic surgeries (removal of polyps, fibroids, and others) and more than 500 laparoscopic surgeries (removal of ovarian cysts, endometriosis, fibroids, laparoscopic hysterectomies) during his career.
 
He operates two private clinics in Athens and Tripoli in Greece.

Fibroids

Fibroids (otherwise referred to as myomas or leiomyomas) are benign tumors of the uterus that pop up in approximately 40% of the female population.

Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a condition of unknown etiology, characterized by the presence of endometrial tissue outside the uterus – such as the ovaries, fallopian tubes, pelvic wall, and Douglasian tissue.

Hysteroscopy

Hysteroscopy is a special examination in which we check the inside of the uterus with a hysteroscope, which is a type of telescope inserted through the cervix.

Laparoscopy

Laparoscopy is an invasive method performed by inserting a special telescope (laparoscope) into the abdomen, allowing the diagnosis and resolution of various pathological conditions, such as adhesions, endometriosis, uterine abnormalities, ovarian cysts, ectopic pregnancy, and others.
